Jewel Jam is a free match 3 game you play in your browser. A grid of colourful gems fills the board. Drag any gem onto an adjacent one to swap them. Line up three or more of the same colour and they pop, the gems above cascade down, and fresh jewels drop in from the top. Chain reactions from a single swap can trigger huge combo bonuses.
How to play Jewel Jam?
Drag a gem in any of the four cardinal directions onto its neighbour to swap them. The swap only sticks if it forms a line of three or more matching gems. Otherwise the gems swap back. On touch screens, swipe a gem toward the one you want to swap with.
Matched gems pop and award 10 points each, multiplied by your current combo. The gems above fall into the gaps, which can trigger automatic chain matches for a combo multiplier. Hit the target score before your moves run out to clear the level.
Look for cascade setups before you swap. If matching three gems will drop a fourth gem into a matching position, that single swap can trigger a chain reaction and multiply your score.

Tips and strategy
- 1Look for cascade setups before you swap. If matching three gems will drop a fourth gem into a matching position, that swap triggers a chain and multiplies your score.
- 2Do not waste moves on low-value matches early. Save your swaps for setups that trigger chains, because the move limit is tight and every swap needs to count.
- 3Work from the bottom of the board. Matches near the bottom shift more gems above them, which increases the chance of an automatic cascade.
- 4Watch your move count. You start with 20 moves, and each level you clear adds 15 more with a higher target score. Plan ahead so you do not run out before hitting the target.
